Production Ready Parts

Cable Drawing - An emailed DWG or DFX file format is preferred. A faxed hard copy is also acceptable. Please include the following on all drawings:

• Dimensions and tolerances (where applicable)

• Important construction notes

• Revision level notes

Bill of Materials (BOM) - An emailed Excel spreadsheet or other electronic file is preferred. A faxed hard copy is also acceptable. Please include the following on all BOM's:

• The manufacturer and manufacturer's part number for each component

• Revision levels

Prototypes

Global welcomes the opportunity to quote prototype assemblies. If you do not have a completed drawing or BOM, just email or fax us as much information as possible.

Quantity to Quote and Other Key Information

If possible, please provide:

• Typical annual quantities used (include minimum and maximum if necessary). Also include quantity per release.

• Target date for first delivery

• Stocking programs (if required)

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 product class (Global builds to class II if not stated)

• Regulatory documents required:

  • first article

  • certificate of compliance

  • production part approval

  • failure effect mode analysis

  • quality control plan

  • process control plan

• Target pricing

• Quote due date

• Quote contact name, phone, email, and fax

• Other important notes relevant to project being quoted
